This blog is dedicated to buildings around the world that are striving for innovation and sustainability by implementing rain water harvesting systems. Through this blog I hope to explore the benefits of rain water harvesting, as well as discuss the potential problems homeowners and builders may face. Our population today uses 54% of the freshwater available to us, causing me to wonder what the future of our water use will look like as we grow in population even more. Living in Portland where it rains an average of 42 inches a year, I think the viability of rain water harvesting in now more clear than ever.
